CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL TRIP
Took a field trip to Crystal Cathedral with my Architecture class a little while back. We had a sweet old lady named Dottie for a tour guide that wore an “I <3 JESUS” pin on her vest, cute. After we saw the main building by Philip Johnson we walked around the campus and checked out some of the new stuff by Richard Meier (the awesome building up top).
When we went into the little prayer spire thing, I noticed someone broke all the fingers off the Jesus statue :\ and if you stand on one end and someone on the other end talks, you can hear them perfectly, I found out via note guy (in the hoodie).
Pretty cool trip overall, leaving the note tomorrow for note guy…
